Data Processing

This page describes the procedure used by the website to process the personal data of the users visiting it. This Information to Data Subjects complies with art. 13 of Legislative Decree no. 196/2003 – Personal Data Protection Code. The Information to Data Subjects only refers to the Hub Unigen Seeds Italy website and not others that may be consulted by the users via links.

Data Controller

After consultation of this site, data relating to persons, identified or identifiable, may be processed. The Data Controller is “Unigen Seeds Italy”, represented for this matter by its legal representative.

Data Processing Location

Data processing associated to the web services of this site shall take place at the headquarters of the company and shall be carried out by the technical staff of the Office in charge of processing or by the staff that may be carrying out occasional maintenance operations. 
The personal data given by the users who request to send information material by filling out specific forms shall be used exclusively to carry out the requested service and shall not be disclosed to third parties.

Types of Data Processed

Surfing Data

The computer systems and software procedures that operate the site acquire, during their routine operation, personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of the Internet communication protocols. The information is not collected to be associated to the data subjects, but by nature it may enable the identification of these users if processed and associated to data held by third parties. This category of data includes: IP addresses or domain names of the computers used by the users who connect to the site, Uniform Resource Identifier addresses, time of the request, method used to submit the request to the server, size of the file received in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the server’s answer (successful outcome, error, etc.) and other parameters relating to the operating system and the User’s IT environment. This data is used only to compile anonymous statistical surveys on the use of the site and to check its correct operation, and is deleted immediately after processing. Data may be used to prove the liability in case of suspected computer-related offences against the site.

Data Freely Provided by the User

Sending electronic mails explicitly and voluntarily to the addresses given in this site implies the subsequent acquisition of the sender’s address, which is necessary to follow up the requests, as well as of other personal data that may be contained in the mail.

Optional Provision of Data

Pursuant to the same article, Data Subjects are entitled to request cancellation, transformation in an anonymous form or block of the data processed breaching the law, and to oppose its processing in any case for legitimate reasons.
